I shot the scenes of Fort Lauderdale for this video from his helicopter and I want to go on record and attest to the beauty of this area. It’s also a thrill to swoop between downtown and the beach front . Check it out!!!

The Barkers Pet Resort

This is an awesome pet retreat and I want to move in!!! First of all, Vaida Morali, the owner runs the most immaculate pet space I’ve seen. The services are beyond the beyond, starting with grooming (including nail polish), massage with aroma therapy, acupuncture performed by a licensed vet, all the way to a grand play yard with swim pool. The “superior” suites come with four poster beds, flat screen t.v., and web-cam so Mommy and Daddy can check on their precious one. What more could a person with fur (puppy or kitty) want? Oh yeah, special meals made with restaurant grade beef, chicken and fish, yum! I want to come back as my dog, Minnie Mee!!!!

10th Anniversary National Rebuilding Day

Sandra Veszi Einhorn is a woman on a mission. Rounding up hordes of volunteers, goods and donations is not a task for the faint of heart. On Saturday, May 1st, teams of volunteers (200 strong) descended on six homes in Collier City, Pompano Beach. To improve homes is only one side of the coin, to improve the lives of the people that inhabit those homes is the other side. The glow of happiness and pride permeates the air surrounding all involved. This is a day that will live in my memory for a long time.....that is until next year when we do it all over again!

This video was the most fun in a long time! Guy is fun-loving, charming,handsome, smooth and irresistible. At twenty two years old, he has the world by the b---s. Guy is graduating college this month and will , no doubt, succeed in whatever venture he decides to pursue. My hat goes off to Guy and Mikey!

Yolo Events

I was commissioned by The Restaurant People to film their restaurant Yolo and depict different types of events. The variety of locations within the restaurant is mind-boggling. Upon entering from the motor court the eye is immediately caught by the fire-pit. The glow from the flames on the faces of the crowd is very alluring. On to the indoor -outdoor bar and Terrace with it’s magical lighting, one is transported to another zone. The indoor spaces are warm, bustling and exotic with a play on textures and colors. An open kitchen invites a closer view of the chefs amidst the ballet of movement behind the counter and on the line. To say the food is fresh, simple but elegant, is to down play how really delicious the fare is. There is a private dining room and last but not least, The O Lounge, another private space available for entertaining. The decor, the staff, the food and the vibe of this restaurant rates a 10! Yolo is one of my favorite watering-holes in Fort Lauderdale. Remember, you only live once!

Victor Sanchez is the owner/trainer of this private one on one fitness studio. Boxing is the core upon which Victor blends weight training and isometrics. The hour workout is devoted strictly to you and you alone with results that are amazing!! I am not only the film-maker on this project, but a devotee of the sport and have trained with Victor for years. He never lets me “rest on my laurels”; he just keeps on inventing new ways to step up the pace. This is not only physical exercise but brain food as well. Pond Hoppers British Import Emporium

Pond Hoppers is a food mecca for ex-pats living in the Fort Lauderdale area. All the tastes of home are brought over the pond by owner Robert Brady, sometimes laboriously. The Easter eggs just made it through customs in the nick of time!
Besides all the crisps, biscuits, teas and jams, one finds comfort in conversation, a cup of tea or possibly a chat about a British flick. Yes, there are even British videos, Beatles t-shirts and a freezer chock full of Hagis and Cornish Pasties, YUM! So come in and have a chat with Rob, shop and enjoy!

Christina Wan’s is a third generation restaurant that started in Hollywood and is now located in Fort Lauderdale. The cuisine is New York style Chinese accented heavily on the “cooked to order” feature catering to diverse dietary needs. One can specify anything from vegan, to low sodium to whatever the heart desires. Christina’s decor is subtle and elegant, the service friendly , but best of all , the food is delicious!
